Do you know any incredible Black Women who are making a difference in their fields? Let’s give them the recognition they deserve! It’s time to nominate Canada’s Top 100 Black Women to Watch of 2024 and celebrate them at the annual Black Pearls Gala.

Celebrating the Potential and Achievements of Black Girls

With over five categories highlighting achievements in many facets of a young girl’s or woman’s journey, you can submit a nomination(s) showcasing the honourees’ unique accomplishments and values. All female entrepreneurs, employees and students are eligible to be nominated.

You Go Girl Awards honourees are selected through a fair nomination process, reviewed by expert judges, and announced and celebrated on October 9.

This award recognizes a young girl who has shaped the way in which the stories of Black girls and women are told. They use visual storytelling, literary arts, or performing arts to create spaces for individuals to reclaim their narratives. They are emerging in this field, or have established roots in the community to create/produce content with impact that promote Black culture, and Black excellency.
This award recognizes a young girl in STEM projects or areas of study. She is given an opportunity to promote the advancement of Black girls in STEM and demonstrates a deep dedication to ground breaking innovation in the field.
This award is for a determined young girl who excels in her studies, community engagement and advocacy. With her voice, she champions creative ways to address the prevalent issues in her community. She is a promising future leader and innovator.
